Hey all, sorry for the long wait on not up dating. I'm still alive out here I've just been bogged down with school and other stuff. Not much has been going on here, my midterms went well and am 4 weeks from the end of term, Let the count down begin! any way, life at home has been pretty normal, Dad's out in South Carolina for a week and a half and will return the day before Thanksgiving (they're crazy =^o^=) then he'll be home for a week before he leaves again for Germany and will be home some time before Christmas. Jr's Jr not to much going on with him, he does get to go sing up north next Sunday with the quartet, and is quite happy about that. Mom is doing well, work is kinda bogging her down also but we'll pull though, besides we've got an advantage, we have God on our side =^-^=! As for me...yea you guessed it still doing home work :P can't wait to have a day off though (hee hee). well I'm gonna try and finish this math talk to ya'll on Wed.

Saturday, October 27, 2007
Well, it's been a while...my last post was explaining how quick October was coming up on us, and here we are 3/4 of the way though it already. akkkk. any way. life has been pretty normal this month, had a few tests that i naturally freak out about resulting in my normal lock my self in my room and study non-stop for three days. oh well. Dad had his surgery at the beginning of this month and is doing really well now. he is, as all of you know, out of town in Arizona for the past week and this upcoming week. He'll return this week be home for a week and then is off again. in other news... Monopoly has become an electric phenomena around here, and i mean that in more then one way. one it's gotten really popular and it's electronic meaning no cash! kinda cool really. Right now I'm waiting for Matt to come by so we can go walk our way to hyper dogs, it's fun to watch them play, even though Bindi always wins :( poor Lucy. well gotta go get a dog ready. talk to y'all latter.

wow! almost October
Wow! i can't believe that it's already the last week in September! it seems like we just started this month. a lot has gone one though. A week ago Matt and I went to Phil and Katie's wedding. It was sooo sweet, it was a small ceremony with a cool back yard BQ, after wards they seemed really happy! My little brother just got back from Kentucky last night. He went down there with our Pastor, his family, and the other guys in the Willing Servants quartet. He said they had a blast and had too much fun singing. We got to hear them sing this morning also, it was great, I'm really amazed how much they have progressed, epically my brother. I know I'm not supposed to be choosy but he is my brother after all, (and currently my favorite bass singer). I'm soo glad that God has blessed him with that ability, and not just him but all those boys. I know he'll never here me say it to him in person but I'm really proud of him. Last Thursday we started up our College and Carrier class. it was really good, our "probe" or lesson of the day was on what was acceptable to God, and was based on the verse in 1 Peter 2 :18-25 that speaks about masters and servants and how we are to react to those who treat us poorly. also with the class we each received a note book that has small daily devotions that act kinda like journal entries, they give you a question and a bible reference and you do the rest, it really make you think and get you into God's word every day! well I've gone and chatted to much. I hope all of you are doing well out there. oh... before I go, my mom should be posting the quartets latest song on her blog soon, so check that out as well!

1 week in
Well it's official, I've been back in school for a whole week now, and let me tell ya it already feels like I've been there for months. I'm sure Matt and Tom feel the same way. That just seems to be the way College works on ya. I don't quite know how I would be able to get through my course load this term with out God giving me patients and the energy to keep working even into the morning hours. I know the others college kids must be feeling the same way. Over all it's been good so far. I've already had 2 quizzes and several homework assignments all of which i did well on :) So at least all the work is doing something. In other news I can speak again (yay!), even though i know there are certain members of the family who are bummed because now they again have to put up with my babel *tee hee*.
tonight at church pastor gave a good message on youth work and introduced a new class for the teens called "pro-teens" it looks really really good and I'm excited for them, I know they'll do well.
well it's getting late and I've still got to finish some math home work so I'll talk at y'all latter.

post surgery
Hey all, I had my surgery yesterday and all went well... I don't look so chipmunk like on the out side but my tongue is really swollen preventing me from talking to much, i hope that it will go down. i do have 7 stitches, one one each tooth and three in my tongue. I don't know how many people knew, but I was (yay) tongue tied, a condition to where the flap of skin under your tongue was attached to the front of my mouth, that's why i couldn't stick my tongue out. hopefully after everything heals i will be able to, not to mention it will make a lot of things easier such as eating and drinking. I hope the youth fellowship is going really well i wish i could go but things happen. have fun out there everyone.

School Up and running...
So, School is up and running...off with my brain...Hey come back!! It's only the third day of class and my brain is already Jell-O (and yes Matt I do have that song stuck in my head). I haven't even attended all of my classes for this term, I still haven't gone to my Chem safety class. Which I pray is easy. Uggg I already have more homework then I have time and more studying then I have brain cells to store it in. Either way things have been going well in class, I feel OK with the material so far, even after i completely blanked out in my Japanese 2010 class and my professor once again said that my "stutter" had returned (it's a nice way of saying that i can't always spit the right Japanese words out to make a full sentence), but he's my favorite teacher...although he did just assign a 300-400 character essay to be done on the 24th... well I guess that's Junior level classes for ya. My Anatomy and Physiology class is going well, thankfully the material is pretty straight forward. Yet I'm positive that Math is going to kill me. I already have 2 sets of book problems, on-line problems and two mathematical journal write ups do aggggggg!!!.... well i guess I should stop complaining now... other then school life has been good. I'm all set to go for tomorrow, my surgery is at 11:30. well i have to go bury myself in Japanese now. see ya!

Labor Day!
Ahhh... So it's officaly the last day of summer vacation...at least God has given us a beautiful day to spend :) We're having a cook out today and i'm all excited, there's not much better then corn and potatos cooked over embers on a fire or the sweet smell of BQ pork made in a slow rosting cooking. Yum makes my mouth water just thinking about it. I hope you all have a great day off and for your intertainment here's something some of you might enjoy!

The End of Summer
Yes it's sad but true. This is the last Friday of summer vacation. Oh well :) I've been getting board any way! So its been like a month since the last time i updated this thing, which I've noticed is a recurring theme amongst my family and close friends (yay! I'm not alone), yet this week seems to be the week to catch up. So as to not annoy you with repeated data (because you've probably already read it in two other blogs) I'll just skip the detailed stuff and go for a simple version (but if you haven't read the others, then just go to my parents page under my links). Ok this is a simple as i can get it.

What's been going on:
July: Church Camp! & Jr's Birthday
July: Church Camp! & Jr's Birthday
August: Summer Revival, Pennsic war, Sunday School Carnival.
That's about it in a nut shell. As far as things to come well, next Friday, I will be getting all four of my wisdom teeth removed, and because of the impacted position of two of them they are going to have to put me under *cringe* I'll have to eat lots of salt before hand, given that i don't want my blood pressure to be an issue with the anesthesia. Like most students I will be heading back to college next Tuesday. This term I'm taking 18 credits, but only 4 classes. I'm taking a 7 credit math course, a 5 credit Anatomy and physiology course, a 4 credit Japanese 3 course and a 2 credit Chem lab safety course (oh joy :p). it'll be nice to have a schedule again :) well I've gone and said to much, take care ya'll I'll try to update more often.

lots has happened since the last time i posted
Hey there, sorry it took so long to post what has been going on. so i'm gonna start at where i left off :) back in June we had our VBS program "rescue zone" it was so great! i got to help out in the
Helpers class. i'm so used to it being a small class that i was amazed when we maxed out at 16 kids, (that a lot!). i became a pro at the copy machine by the end of the week, over all with all the kids we did have they where really well behaved.
the next thing to come up was our FRMBC sports days! which are still going on, so far there doing great, I got a chance to visit the Volley ball and basketball group and even got to play a little, the kids look like their having a blast.
over the last few weeks i have had a plethora of projects, from sewing to drawing. i am currently
working on a game board for camp. I have also been working on another project for about 3 weeks now and am happy to say the end is in sight! it is a gown i have been making for my Renaissance reenactment group! you can see it on the right. on the note of our reenactment group, we held a tourney a few Saturdays ago that went really well.
on Tuesday of last week Laura and I went to Cedar Point where we had a blast and nearly got lost coming home (no i wasn't driving :p) and today i had an interview! yup that's right, finaly a promising looking one, at the FedEx Kinko's in Monroe, i really hope that i get this position, but in truth i know that God will give me the job he thinks is best. well that's all for now, talk to ya soon!

The weekend
This weekend was well packed with stuff. It started Saturday morning when i drove out to Stony Ridge Stables in Chelsea MI, to watch Laura's horse show. She did really well given that it was her first big show. She got third on her first test but didn't place in her second, which is just fine. Either way she improved on her first score. I thought she did wonderful, I know i would have fallen right off. any way, I went home around 3:00 then went to a barbecue at Matt's family house where we had a ton of fun. I learned how to ride a 4-wheeler, and man that thing is too cool. After several rides and a darkening horizon it was time to eat, we had burgers and the like along with some cookies. Later there was more 4-wheeling and some massive couch destruction which was fun to watch, then they burned it to the ground Tee hee (oops sorry got caught up in the moments). After wards there was much sleep to be had. The next day was Sunday. It started off really nice, with a good sleep then a nice church service, then some one suggested tennis, so we went and played tennis, for nearly 3 hours! we stopped at 4 to get ready for the evening service then afterwards went and played for another solid hour and a half to two hours. then came home and crashed. it pretty easy to say that I'm bushed.
